Jennifer Lawrence has finally set the record straight on the rumors that she had a secret affair with her “Hunger Games” co-star Liam Hemsworth while he was still dating Miley Cyrus.

The actress appeared on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” on Monday and was asked by the host if she ever had a “fling” with Hemsworth, who was in an on-and-off relationship with Cyrus for nearly a decade.

Lawrence, who is happily married to art dealer Cooke Maroney, did not hesitate to shut down the speculation. “Not true. Total rumor,” she said firmly. “I mean, we all know me and Liam like kissed one time. It was years after they broke up. So I just assumed that was a coincidence.”

Lawrence and Hemsworth played star-crossed lovers Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in the blockbuster franchise based on Suzanne Collins’ novels. The duo had undeniable chemistry on screen, but Lawrence insisted that they never crossed the line off screen.

She also dismissed the fan theory that Cyrus shaded her in her recent music video for “Flowers,” a song believed to be about her split from Hemsworth. In the video, Cyrus wears a gold dress that looks similar to the one Lawrence wore to the 2012 Los Angeles premiere of “The Hunger Games.”

“I just assume that was, like, a coincidence,” Lawrence said, adding that she would love to be friends with Cyrus. “I think she’s awesome.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth met on the set of “The Last Song” in 2009 and got engaged in 2012. They broke up in 2013, but rekindled their romance in 2016. They tied the knot in December 2018, but announced their separation in August 2019. Hemsworth filed for divorce shortly after, and it was finalized in January 2020.

Both stars have moved on since then. Hemsworth is currently dating model Gabriella Brooks, while Cyrus is in a relationship with musician Maxx Morando.

Lawrence, meanwhile, married Maroney in October 2019 in a star-studded ceremony in Rhode Island. She recently starred in the comedy-drama film “No Hard Feelings,” which she also produced.
