Mark Wahlberg reveals he CRASHED a frat party at his daughter Ella’s college in South Carolina: ‘It was nuts’


Mark Wahlberg revealed he crashed a fraternity party at Clemson University back in September. 

While reflecting on visiting his 20-year-old daughter Ella’s college earlier this year, the two-time Oscar nominee, 52, gushed that ‘parents’ weekend was incredible.’

‘It was nuts,’ the father-of-four told Entertainment Tonight, with a chuckle, before detailing how seeing his little girl having such a blast made him regret not pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

The actor recalled: ‘They were having the most fun I’ve ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas… I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town.’

Wahlberg proceeded to joke that it would be so hard for him to leave college that he would probably be in ‘still be at the frat house’ on his ’25th year senior.’

Previously, the star admitted on the Today show that he ‘never really had too many regrets about not going to college until’ spending time on campus with Ella. 

While his eldest’s major is unknown, Ella is member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and frequently documents her life in college, from tailgating before football games to hanging out with friends, on social media.

 In October, Will Ferrell nearly broke the internet after he was caught on video guest DJing at a frat party at the University of Southern California where his son Magnus, 19, attends.

Over the years, Wahlberg has expressed that is he ‘very passionate’ about being ‘able to provide’ for his ‘family in a way that’ he ‘never dreamt of.’

‘If my kids want to go to college, they’re going to be able to do all those things,’ he  explained to Men’s Health magazine in 2015

Earlier this year, Wahlberg and his wife, wife Rhea Durham, moved with their four kids to Las Vegas to give them a ‘a chance to thrive.’

In addition to Ella, they share Grace, 13, Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14. 

‘It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip,’ the filmmaker told Fox News Digital. ‘But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there’s a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community.’

The devoted dad stressed to the publication that the relocation was ‘really about giving the kids an opportunity to pursue their goals and dreams. 

‘My daughter’s an equestrian,’ he noted. ‘My son’s a golfer. My oldest daughter, now she’s off to college. My son’s a junior.’ 

Shifting the focus to his endeavors, he added, ‘There’s lots of opportunity here as well for me. We’re trying to create a studio. We’re trying to build the shoe factory. We want to create lots of jobs here.’

During an appearance on The Talk last fall, the businessman said, ‘I moved to Nevada where, after this gubernatorial election, hopefully it will go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get a tax credit for the state — build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.’

And the executive producer told Fox last April, ‘We’re always looking for new opportunities and new adventures.

‘I hope to create of a lot of opportunity here. And I moved to California originally to make movies. I’ve made three movies in the last 15 years in LA. So, as you know, it’s been difficult.

‘The kids are really happy, and it’s all about them.’
