Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dealt fresh blow as top TV boss quits their Archewell production company [Source: @nypost]

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dealt a fresh blow after the manager of their Archewell production company shockingly handed in his resignation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex founded Archewell Productions in 2020 — just months after they quit royal life and high-tailed it across the pond.

Since then, the production company has seen several major projects come to fruition, including partnerships with Spotify and Netflix, as well as talks of a future Audible deal.

But it seems as though things weren’t as smooth sailing behind closed doors, as Bennett Levine, who served as the manager of Archewell since 2022, left his post this month, the Daily Mail reports.

Levine initially joined the team as a coordinator in 2021, and was swiftly promoted the following year.

“It’s a blow to the company,” a source told the outlet. “There’s no doubt about that.”

For his part, Levine confirmed his exit in a post about his new role on social media.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position at Cinetic Media,” he wrote on LinkedIn last week.

During his stint at Archewell, Levine co-produced several projects for the runaway royals, including their 2022 Netflix docu-series, “Harry & Meghan.”

Levine’s surprise exit comes hot on the heels of rumors that Netflix may not be renewing their deal with Archewell, according to expert opinions.

Harry, 39, and Markle, 42, had signed an estimated $100 million contract with Netflix in 2021.

Once their deal ends in 2025, all eyes will be on the Sussexes to see if they’ll be signing on the dotted line for another lucrative partnership.

In November, the “Suits” alum teased an “exciting” future of new projects from the production company, and even subtly hinted at the content fans can expect.

“[I want to make] things that make people feel — I was going say ‘good,’ but it’s more than that, things that make people feel something, right? And feel a sense of community,” Markle explained.

“But we have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating. My husband is loving it, too. It’s really fun,” she added.

The Sussexes have so far debuted three projects under their lucrative Netflix deal so far.

In addition to their bombshell six-part documentary “Harry & Meghan” in 2022, the pair released “Live To Lead,” and most recently, “Heart of Invictus.”
