Britain’s beloved royal family has been spreading holiday cheer over the years through their festive season’s greetings cards.
Prince William and Duchess Kate often used the special occasion to document their growing family after their 2011 nuptials. The pair, who share Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, showed how much their children have grown in their festive 2021 photo, writing via Instagram, “Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card.”
In the sweet snap, William and Kate matched in green while their children kept it casual with their blue and camouflage outfits.

Charles and Camilla used a photo taken of the couple from their royal visit to Cuba earlier that year for their official Christmas card. In the pic shared to Clarence House’s Instagram page on December 20, the pair were shown riding around in a stylish old-fashioned car.
William and Kate held onto their little ones, George, Charlotte and Louis, while posing outdoors for their family photo in 2020. Louis, 2 years old at the time, stole the show with his big laugh in the middle.
Harry and Meghan teamed up with the animal charity Mayhew for their 2020 card, which included the couple, Archie, who was 19 months old at the time, and their two dogs.
“This year we, as a family, have made donations to several charities with you in mind,” the couple said in a message alongside the card. “From a local California organization that helps families transition out of homelessness, to two of our U.K. patronages: one that supports animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a cherished friend that helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honored their work on behalf of all of us.”
Harry and Meghan’s first card as a family of four was released through a Veteran’s charity called Team Rubicon. The snap, which was taken at their Santa Barbara, California, home, also marked the first public photo of their daughter, Lili.
“Happy Holidays. This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family,” the pair wrote on the card. “As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave.”
