So scarlet it was maroon.
Taylor Swift may be a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, but her closet is quickly filling up with red-and-black pieces in support of the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Sunday, the “Cruel Summer” singer supported boyfriend Travis Kelce, the team’s tight end, by attending his game against the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Mass. with dad Scott by her side.
While Swift shook off some booing from the “dads, Brads and Chads” in attendance, Kelce and his team walked away victorious — and Swifties enjoyed seeing the superstar decked out in Chiefs hues once again.
Along with her vintage Kansas City sweatshirt, signature scarlet lipstick, garnet ring and knit beanie stitched with Kelce’s jersey number, Swift wore a custom plaid pleated skirt from Rails that incorporated shades of red and black — coincidentally or not, a tribute to the team’s colors.
“It’s no secret that Taylor loves her plaid skirts and has been the ultimate muse for this season’s schoolgirl trend,” Rails Vice President of Women’s Design Linney Warren told People of the design.
“When we were imagining custom pieces to create for her, we wanted to give her things that she could seamlessly incorporate into her wardrobe — we were thrilled when she chose to style it back to a vintage sweatshirt for the Chiefs game for a bit of nostalgia!” Warren continued.
While Swift’s bespoke style is not currently shoppable, the brand’s Prim skirt (
$188 $131) offers a similar pop of plaid — and is currently on sale for 30% off.

The singer, 34 has been quite literally wearing her heart on her sleeve since going public with Kelce, from rocking vintage Chiefs merch to sporting friendship bracelets adorned with the NFL star’s nickname and jersey number.
And while celebrating her 34th birthday with friends last week, Swift showed off an enormous new opal ring surrounded by a halo of blue gems — a possible gift from Kelce, 34, that appears to include both of their birthstones.
Experts tell Page Six Style the pear-shaped sparkler could be worth up to $175,000.
With sources exclusively telling Page Six that the couple are set to spend both Christmas and New Year’s Eve together, we have a feeling there will be merch of all kinds under the Christmas tree — and lots of mistletoe to go around, too.
